Port Vila, New Hebrides (now Vanuatu)

Baha'i Teaching Conference
4-5 October 1975

On 4-5 October 1975, while New Caledonia and the New Hebrides were still a single Baha'i community under a Regional Spiritual Assembly, we gathered in the capital of the New Hebrides, Port Vila, for a National Teaching Conference. Among those attending were Counsellor Suhayl Ala'i from Samoa, and Bertha Dobbins, who first brought the Baha'i Faith to the New Hebrides and earned the title "Knight of Baha'u'llah".
